FRANCESCO GAUDIO
REAL EXPERIENCE. IN THE STUDIO AND ON STAGE.
I have been working with music for over 25 years: artistic production, recording, mixing, and major live productions.
MUSIC, TECHNIQUE, AND ARTISTIC VISION.
Francesco Gaudio is a producer, musician, publisher, and sound engineer from Taranto. For over 25 years, he has been involved in music in all its facets, making it the foundation of his life and professional activity.
His approach to production combines technical expertise with a visceral and emotional artistic vision, aiming to build a recognizable identity around every project.
PRODUCTION & STUDIO
He is the owner of StudioGaudio, a benchmark recording studio for emerging music in Apulia. Artists from all over the region have entrusted him with their musical direction, recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
He is the artistic producer for Cristiano Cosa, Melga, Malamore, and other projects. His work includes Cristiano Cosa's album, artistically produced by Francesco Gaudio, featuring Roberto “Bob” Angelini on guitars.
A PATH BUILT IN THE FIELD
Self-taught in the sound field and with a degree in Economics and Business, he studied classical and jazz double bass at the Conservatory, while simultaneously dedicating years to private study of the electric bass.
Starting in 2000, he began producing his first tracks in the studio and deepened his knowledge of sound design, recording, and mixing through courses, open mix sessions, and educational workshops with professionals including Mark Urselli, Marco Zangirolami, and Tommaso Colliva. He furthered his mastering studies at Massive Arts Studio in Milan and participated in masterclasses at the Testone Laboratories.
FROM THE STUDIO TO THE BIG STAGES.
Studio production has developed alongside extensive live experience as a FOH and monitor engineer. He has worked with national and international artists including Tony Hadley, Gene Simmons, Peter Murphy, and Wolfmother.
As a FOH engineer, he has participated in festivals such as Uno Maggio Taranto, Porto Rubino, Cinzella Festival, and Viva Festival, collaborating with prominent figures in the Italian music scene, including Antonio Diodato, Vinicio Capossela, Daniele Silvestri, Niccolò Fabi, Gaia, Brunori Sas, and Lucio Corsi.
TOURS & LIVE PRODUCTIONS
In 2011, he toured with Simone Cristicchi as a stage technician and has worked as a sound engineer for Orchestra Mancina and the ICO Magna Grecia Orchestra.
Since 2022, he has collaborated with companies and agencies in the live sector, managing productions and artists including Geolier, Raf, Gaia, Fabrizio Moro, and Bunker 44. In 2025 and the summer of 2026, he joined the tour dates for Alfa, Fabrizio Moro, and Francesco Gabbani. Highlights of his career include the Mediolanum Forum with Alfa and Ultimo's concert at Tor Vergata, working on stage for Fabrizio Moro's production.
PROJECTS, ARTISTS, MUSICAL CULTURE.
He is the founder and label manager of DIGA Records, through which he curates and develops emerging recording projects, including Malamore, Melga, Cristiano Cosa, and Periodo Blu.
He organizes Approdo Cantautori, a format dedicated to singer-songwriter music, artist networking, and the development of new opportunities. His professional profile is completed by his work as a Technical Specialist for Strumentimusicali.net.
