The new single by Fanelly is online
Today marks the release of the second single by our Anna Fanelli, “It’s gonna make a little difference”, a track that defines and previews the “Indie Jazz” and “folk Jazz” style of Anna’s creative genius. A sneak peek of her upcoming debut album due out in March.
Not everyone knows this wonderful artist, born and raised in Taranto , but now permanently based in France, in the city of Paris. Her production journey took shape in 2016, when she knocked on our door with a voice and guitar track, and with her polite determination asked us: “I’d like some help recording this track better, it doesn’t sound good on the phone!” (actually she was already using Logic Pro, but we liked putting it that way!), from there the step to producing an album was natural, spontaneous, and exciting. Ever since that distant 2016 we’ve never stopped working together, collaborating remotely between Taranto and Paris for recording and structuring the tracks best. We worked remotely right in the middle of the first lockdown to finalize the mixing and mastering of the tracks. Following the release of her first music video SuperHero, Fanelly offers a taste of her upcoming CD, portraying a Paris intimidated by the numerous terrorist attacks in 2015, where every small difference in everyday habits seems to leave a mark on the psyche of all the inhabitants of the French city.
Returning to the artist Fanelly and the experience shared with all of us, we leave you with these words from our president Francesco G.:
When you are part of a dream, sometimes you just need to close your eyes and figure out how to capture the subtle differences between it and reality. Living in the dream is our reality today, Anna’s reality and that of her new musical proposal.
