One of the bands that particularly struck us in this 2017, a year already rich in discoveries in its own right, is Studio82. The band has long offered a repertoire of published songs by Rino Gaetano, Lucio Dalla, Battisti, and many others…
In 2016, we had the pleasure of following them in a live recording session held in an open-air theater. Together with them, we thus created their first live CD, which allowed our friends to outline their initial recording journey.
After a few months, Studio82 locked themselves in their rehearsal room, conceiving and arranging a series of unreleased tracks that will soon be recorded.
We joined forces with them once again to handle the mixing of the first single “Le cose per bene”. The track’s harmonic foundation is built around the acoustic piano, and as often happens, we accompanied our “StudioGaudio associates” to the Mast Studio in Bari for the grand piano tracking session using the Yamaha baby grand.
Once the tracking phase was complete, we dedicated ourselves to mixing this track, which we consider truly special: a song sung in Italian with profound artistic content.
Studio82 are true friends, and we constantly support them on this journey to provide precise technical backing and to best highlight what they have to say. In fact, what stands out about this group is that they genuinely want to express mature concepts and ideas.
The track is fabulous. The mixing is finished, and we are now getting ready to carry out the mastering. In this case, as is often our practice, we turn to expert mastering engineers specifically to bring added value.
We turned to White Studio by Tommaso Bianchi, a technician who has collaborated with major artists on the national scene and beyond.
The track will be released accompanied by a music video. We can only preview that it is an exceptional work and a wonderful song, which we firmly believe will take off. See you soon, then, with “Le cose per bene” by Studio82!
In the meantime, we’d like to point you to their beautiful rendition of “Vento d’estate”, recorded LIVE in the theater (2016).
